Green Monster Farm
The Green Monster Farm was incorporated in May 2024, with roots tracing back to 2021 when founder Toni Ichikawa moved to farmland along the hilltops of Kaukonahua Road. There, she encountered a small flock left behind—and one unforgettable Ameraucana hen named Betsy, who laid a green egg beside her toolbox each day. That simple ritual sparked the beginning of the farm.
Today, The Green Monster Farm operates on certified organic land in Mokulēʻia, producing 100 to 120 dozen eggs weekly. Guided by the principles of Korean Natural Farming, the farm works in harmony with local ecosystems, prioritizing animal health, soil vitality, and sustainability.
A portion of the hens’ feed is thoughtfully substituted with locally sourced fresh produce, helping close the loop between farm and community while reducing waste and lowering the farm’s carbon footprint.
With the addition of a new flock of 300 hens, production will expand by February 2026 to 180 to 200 dozen eggs per week, while maintaining the same standards of care and quality.
